making the double vowels. Color all the vowels with red then glue onto
a white index card. Keep them together with other Pinyin cards in a Ziploc
bag. 3. Sentence Structure

three times. Try to recognize and memorize the characters.

This week you should make the flashcards for consonants in blue: j / q / x / zh / ch / sh / r / z / c / s / y / w 2. Lesson 1 flash card: Cut out each character and glue on a flash card. Write the pinyin and the meaning on the back of each flash card, use pp. 6 in “My First Chinese Reader” to help you with pinyin and the definition. 3. Skip Homework #3 4.
